Demo Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Ownership of Demo Environments: Oversee, upgrade, and troubleshoot essential sales demo environments to guarantee they are consistently ready for presentations and operating on the latest product versions.

• Technical Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for any technical problems or malfunctions that arise within a demo environment.

• Team Collaboration: Work in close partnership with our Senior Technical Solution Consultant to develop tailored Proof of Concepts (POCs) and carry out the backend technical tasks necessary for intricate deals.

• Data Curation: Create and manage realistic, engaging data sets within the demo environments to align with our prospects' business use cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or Fluent English (Customer-Facing Pathway): As this position serves as a gateway to a customer-facing role, a native or highly proficient command of English is essential. You must be capable of clearly expressing complex ideas.

• Problem-Solving Mindset: You don’t have to be a test-driven, purist software developer. What’s important is being a creative thinker who can assemble elements to ensure a demo looks impressive and operates smoothly.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with TypeScript (both frontend and backend) and APIs is required. You should be comfortable manipulating data streams, adjusting frontend components, and integrating systems for a cohesive demo experience.

• Effective Communicator (High Emotional Intelligence): It’s vital to grasp the business value behind the technology, not just the code, and to communicate efficiently with internal sales teams. We will provide guidance on these concepts.

• Flexible & Resourceful: You excel in a dynamic sales environment and can easily adapt to shifting priorities when an urgent demo request arises.

• Knowledge of Life Insurance & Annuity domains is advantageous, but not mandatory.
