Demand and Financial Planning Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate weekly with our omnichannel lead to assess retail sales among various retail partners and distributors. Work alongside the Supply Chain team to ensure sufficient inventory levels at our fulfillment centers to meet demand, and manage monthly reforecasting activities.

• Maintain a demand planning model that considers sales trends and anticipated future activities to forecast inventory demands, sales mix trends, and the expected impact on gross margin.

• Monitor and track our input costs to gain insights into how our gross margins change over time across our product portfolio, helping to clarify fluctuations in Ollie’s overall gross margin from month to month.

• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand business performance.

• Partner with Finance and our omnichannel lead to evaluate and model new business opportunities.

• Support the formulation of long-term strategic plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with advanced expertise in Excel and financial modeling.

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited four-year institution.

• You have familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems.

• You understand U.S. GAAP accounting principles.

• You are a problem solver who comprehensively grasps all aspects of an issue and can provide actionable solutions to the team. Excellent communication skills are essential.

• You can thrive in a dynamic and agile business environment, where new opportunities and projects arise frequently.

• You take ownership of your responsibilities and are self-driven, with a meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
