This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to gain insights into the complete use case demand plan for prioritized clients.
• Spearhead the technical account strategy and execution plan following technical wins for the majority of Databricks use cases within our key accounts.
• Act as the accountable technical leader assigned to specific use cases and customers across various selling teams and internal stakeholders, transforming uncertainty into certainty while driving onboarding, enablement, success, go-live, and effective utilization of the workloads chosen by the customer to adopt Databricks.
• Serve as the primary contact for any technical inquiries or issues regarding the production/go-live status of agreed-upon use cases within an account, often handling multiple use cases within the largest and most intricate organizations.
• Utilize Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, and Support resources, while also escalating matters to expert-level technical specialists to formulate the necessary tasks that extend beyond your scope of activities or expertise.
• Develop, own, and implement a strategic perspective on how key use cases can be expedited into production, coordinating with Professional Services (PS) resources for the delivery of PS Engagement proposals.
• Coordinate with Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade requirements.
• Create an execution plan encompassing all activities of customer-facing technical roles and teams to address the following work streams:
• Transitioning main use cases from ‘win’ to production.
• Enablement and user growth strategies.
• Product adoption strategies and activities to enhance the adoption of Databricks’ Lakehouse vision.
• Organic needs for current investment such as cloud cost control, tuning, and optimization.
• Executive and operational governance.
• Provide both internal and external updates, including KPI reporting on usage status and customer health, encompassing investment status, significant risks, product adoption, and the progression of use cases to your Technical GM.
• Over 5 years of experience in which you have been responsible for the delivery of technical projects or programs in the Data and AI domain.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Background in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting position.
• Knowledge of solution architecture related to distributed data systems.
• Ability to associate business value and outcomes with specific project deliverables.
• Expertise in technical program or project management, including accountability for account, stakeholder, and resource management.
• Experience in resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Proven ability to conduct open-ended discovery workshops, develop strategic roadmaps, perform business analysis, and manage the delivery of complex programs/projects.
• A track record of exceeding quotas, goals, or similar performance targets.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work.
