Delivery Manager – B2B Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of multi-year initiatives using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, adapting your strategy to align with the unique needs and phase of each program.

• Develop and sustain clear scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans, ensuring that programs are shielded from scope creep and providing alternative solutions for recovery as necessary.

• Proactively create and advocate for innovative, non-traditional solutions to execution challenges, ensuring optimal recovery and continuous enhancement of delivery standards.

• Establish and maintain program standards, governance frameworks, and KPIs—both standard and specific to each program—to ensure predictable and high-quality execution across all workstreams.

• Engage, align, and influence senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.

• Lead steering committees and deliver clear, trusted updates to executive sponsors.

• Collaborate with teams from both Infinite Lambda and the client to deliver projects and programs, earning their trust and obtaining 360-degree feedback on feasibility and plans.

• Utilize your technical knowledge to constructively challenge assumptions, guide recovery strategies, and facilitate trade-off decisions between engineering quality and delivery speed, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.

• Create and maintain essential documentation (such as RAID Logs, RACI matrices, and Gantt charts) and lead ceremonies including standups, retrospectives, and client presentations.

• Proactively identify risks and eliminate obstacles, assisting the team in discovering the path to excellence that earns admiration and respect from clients. Regularly track progress and communicate updates to stakeholders through reports and presentations. Report to the Delivery Excellence group, ensuring consistent two-way communication. Conduct project reviews to identify areas for improvement.

• Your ability to deliver structured, clear, and professional communication is crucial to shaping how our clients perceive Infinite Lambda. This requires you to adjust your communication style to best fit each client's environment.

• Responsible for fostering a safe and pleasant working atmosphere for your team. As a natural entrepreneur, you are driven to identify opportunities that empower your clients' business strategies through data and facilitate more business through close collaboration with Account Managers. You will stay attuned to the various activities under your control, smoothly switching context from one project or program to another to support your teams in being autonomous and empowered.

• Provide active coaching and mentorship to delivery teams, assisting them in adopting best practices, adhering to program standards, and enhancing their own delivery capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in leading complex programs, particularly focusing on data warehouse migration and/or AI.

• Background in consulting.

• Proven experience in leading and managing projects and programs from inception to completion, including at least 5 years as a consultant or delivering customized projects for external clients.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with US-based clients.

• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

• Strong conceptual understanding of software engineering and data delivery principles (e.g., architectural patterns, tools, modern development practices) to effectively challenge, guide, and support technical leadership.

• Experience in business analysis or product management.

• Significant experience in business change as well as IT delivery.

• Gravitas, credibility, and maturity to engage effectively with C-level stakeholders.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills – capable of articulating a compelling vision.

• Experience with fixed-cost programs as well as Time & Materials (T&M).
