Decorative Accessories/Home Decor Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create innovative decor concepts with a strong emphasis on their application in actual interiors.

• Discover product opportunities by analyzing interior trends, conducting market and competitor research, and assessing existing bestsellers alongside creative direction.

• Generate and visualize concepts using AI-driven image creation tools.

• Evaluate concepts in realistic room environments and diverse interior styles.

• Convert aesthetic ideas into explicit product directions.

• Partner with CAD designers to transform concepts into designs suitable for manufacturing.

• Collaborate with suppliers and factories during the sampling and development phases.

• Work closely with content and advertising teams to prepare products for their launch.

• Manage several product concepts and development projects concurrently.

• Guide concepts through the entire development cycle, from inception to launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background in interior design, backed by a compelling portfolio.

• Practical experience with AI image generation, utilizing tools such as Nano Banana, Adobe Firefly, Flux, or similar applications.

• A keen eye for styling, proportions, materials, composition, and their effectiveness within a room.

• A genuine passion for designing tangible decor products and objects — beyond just spaces.

• Capability to translate an aesthetic vision into a concrete product concept that can be manufactured and marketed.

• Highly organized, dependable, and adept at managing multiple projects at once.

• Proficient in English.

• Strong Plus: Experience in designing custom furniture, decor items, or accessories.

• Strong Plus: Experience working with wood, handcrafted products, or similar materials.

• Strong Plus: A robust understanding of US interior and home decor trends, including organic modern, Japandi, or mid-century styles.

• Strong Plus: Experience with 3D or CAD tools, such as SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, or similar software.

• Strong Plus: Experience collaborating with makers, factories, manufacturers, or suppliers.

• Strong Plus: Experience with product sampling and iterative development processes.

• Submission of a CV, portfolio, and examples of interiors, products, or custom pieces you have personally developed is required.
