Debt Resolution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Oversee and actively manage efforts for debt recovery on overdue accounts.

• Design and execute customized debt resolution strategies tailored to individual customer situations.

• Reach out to delinquent customers to negotiate settlements, establish payment plans, or achieve full debt recovery.

• Foster professional relationships with customers while balancing effective collections with empathy.

• Handle complex or escalated customer accounts, striving for effective and amicable resolutions.

• Address disputes and complaints while maintaining a positive representation of the company.

• Ensure compliance with applicable debt collection laws, regulations, and internal company policies.

• Stay updated on industry trends and legal modifications.

• Monitor personal performance metrics, including recovery rates and engagement with customers.

• Prepare and deliver reports detailing recovery activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement.

• Evaluate and modify collection strategies to achieve recovery objectives.

• Optimize debt collection processes for enhanced efficiency.

• Utilize collection software and tools to monitor progress and maintain precise records.

• Work in coordination with internal teams that support the debt recovery efforts.

• Collaborate with external agencies or partners as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a debt collection agent, with at least 2 years in debt resolution.

• Experience working with GCC-based debt collection agencies.

• Comprehensive understanding of debt collection laws, regulations, and best practices.

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities, capable of managing sensitive conversations and resolving conflicts.

• Proficiency in utilizing debt collection software and tools.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to navigate high-pressure situations and professionally address customer concerns.

• Certification in debt collection or a related field is preferred.

• Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
