This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Develop, implement, and oversee profitable growth within the Continental Retread Solutions (CRS) dealer channel, with an emphasis on new tire and retread sales.
• Convey area sales management strategies via regional channels (TSM/DM), Key Account Management (KAM) personnel, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage account strategies individually to support the profitability objectives of the Continental Tires the Americas (CTA) business units.
• Mentor regional Territory Sales Managers (TSM) to engage with dealer and fleet accounts in their respective territories, ensuring adherence to individual customer strategies at a regional level.
• Oversee CRS dealer account(s), boosting Continental’s market share by treating them as mini businesses to ensure profitable growth through increased sales volume, enhanced price positioning, optimized product mix, and management of both fixed and variable expenses.
• Conduct local sales prospecting within your designated area of responsibility in collaboration with TSMs and KAMs.
• Clearly outline the parameters that CRS dealers must follow to maintain the integrity of Continental’s strategic vision.
• Jointly manage the pricing strategy for accounts and implement this strategy individually at the locations of your accounts.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of relevant sales or marketing experience, OR a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 3+ years of relevant sales or marketing experience if a Bachelor's Degree is not held.
• Willingness to travel as required within the assigned territory, including overnight stays (up to approximately 75%).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
• Continental is capable of providing visa support for internal candidates currently holding a valid employment visa.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial truck tire experience on either the dealer or manufacturer side.
• At least 2 years of experience in truck tire sales.
• Ability to meet physical demands, such as lifting, walking, sitting, squatting, bending, and climbing around commercial vehicles.
• Capability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally, including rolling, moving, or stacking items.
