Dealer Account Manager – Truck Tire CRS Channel

📋 Description

• Develop, execute, and oversee profitable growth within the Continental Retread Solutions (CRS) dealer channel, with a focus on new tire and retread sales.

• Convey area sales management strategies through the regional channel (TSM/DM), Key Account Management (KAM) personnel, and cross-functional teams.

• Independently manage account strategies to align with the profitability objectives of the Continental Tires the Americas (CTA) business units.

• Guide regional Territory Sales Managers (TSM) in engaging with dealer and fleet accounts within their territories, ensuring adherence to and support for individual customer strategies at a regional level.

• Oversee CRS dealer accounts, enhancing Continental's market share by treating them as mini businesses to ensure profitable growth via increased sales volume, improved pricing strategies, product mix optimization, and management of both fixed and variable costs.

• Ensure that CRS dealer strategies and goals are supported at the business unit level by both Continental personnel and selected customers.

• Conduct local sales prospecting within your designated area of responsibility in collaboration with TSMs and KAMs.

• Communicate and uphold Continental’s strategic growth objectives.

• Serve as a liaison between the CRS dealer and fleet business to ensure service levels and customer needs are met, and that products are available for our fleet customers.

• Collaborate with the marketing department to gather competitive insights that support the development of strategic initiatives, event planning, promotions, etc.

• Provide regular feedback to CRS dealers through coordinated training sessions, business reviews, and fleet forums.

• Jointly manage the pricing strategy for accounts and implement this strategy at each account location on an individual basis.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years of relevant sales or marketing experience, or a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 3+ years of related sales or marketing experience if a Bachelor’s Degree is not held.

• Willingness to travel as necessary throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel (up to approximately 75%).

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.

• Continental can provide relocation assistance for this position.

• Continental is able to offer visa support for internal candidates who currently possess a valid employment visa.
