This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively convey the company's products and services to management at all levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Identify and reach out to sales prospects, along with managing other assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities within both independent and franchise dealerships.
• Cultivate, sustain, and expand relationships with current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer sectors.
• Maintain constant and effective communication through phone calls and in-person visits to train dealer partners on existing programs and fast funding requirements.
• Offer solutions, rework, and restructure vehicle loans for approval, ensuring profitability for Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Assist in the preparation of sales contracts by educating dealers on the necessary requirements for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Develop, maintain, and stay informed about sales materials and current financial product knowledge.
• Engage in marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events targeted at independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales role with a demonstrated record of success.
• College degree (preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient presentation skills, from initial creation to final delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion strategies.
• Solid computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented, with a strong desire for personal improvement and career advancement.
• Capable of communicating and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge or experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (advantageous).
• Prior Outside Sales Experience (preferred).
