This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively convey the company's products and services to all management levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Identify potential sales leads and establish contact with these and other designated accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities within both independent and franchise dealers.
• Build, nurture, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer networks.
• Maintain constant and effective communication through phone interactions and in-person visits to train dealer partners on existing programs and fast funding protocols.
• Offer solutions, reconfigure, and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a way that is profitable for both Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Aid in the creation of sales contracts by informing dealers about the necessary documentation for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance sales materials while staying informed on current financial product knowledge.
• Engage in marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events targeting independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of previous experience in a Sales position with a demonstrated record of success.
• College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient presentation skills, from conception to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion strategies.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a strong desire for personal improvement and career advancement.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge and experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (advantageous).
• Previous experience in Outside Sales (preferred).
• Willingness to travel locally to meet current and potential clients, requiring a valid state driver's license.
