This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively convey company products and services to all tiers of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Identify potential sales leads and reach out to these and other designated accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities involving both independent and franchise dealers.
• Cultivate, sustain, and expand relationships with current and prospective dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer networks.
• Maintain constant and effective communication through phone calls and in-person visits with dealer partners to provide training on existing programs and rapid funding requirements.
• Offer solutions, rework, and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a way that is beneficial for Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Aid in the preparation of sales contracts by informing the dealer about the necessary requirements for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Develop, maintain, and familiarize oneself with sales materials while staying updated on current financial product knowledge.
• Engage in marketing initiatives such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events targeting independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales position with a demonstrated record of success.
• College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in presentation skills, from initial development to final delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion strategies.
• Excellent computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a strong desire for personal and professional growth.
• Capable of communicating and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge or experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL (advantageous).
• Prior experience in Outside Sales (preferred).
