This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively convey the company's products and services to management at all levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Identify potential sales opportunities and reach out to assigned accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities among both independent and franchise dealers.
• Develop, sustain, and enhance relationships with existing and prospective dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintain consistent and effective communication through phone calls and in-person visits with dealer partners to provide training on current programs and fast funding requirements.
• Offer solutions, rehash, and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a way that is profitable for Westlake and its Dealer Partners.
• Aid in the preparation of sales contracts by informing dealers about the necessary requirements for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Keep sales materials updated and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current financial products.
• Engage in marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events targeting independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales role with a demonstrated track record of success.
• College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient presentation skills from initial creation to final delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Understanding of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Strong computer proficiency and adaptability to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a strong desire for personal improvement and career advancement.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Familiarity or experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (advantageous).
• Previous experience in Outside Sales (preferred).
