Deal Desk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Provide support to the APJ sales team by organizing pricing structures and generating quotations for clients and partners.

• Assist with overflow tasks from AMS and EMEA regions as required.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product/Pricing, Finance, and Contracts teams to develop and approve pricing and deal frameworks.

• Utilize CPQ and associated tools to create quotation documents for customer or partner signatures.

• Keep up-to-date with the SailPoint product suite and its components.

• Analyze non-standard complex deals and offer guidance on suitable pricing models.

• Ensure that discounts and payment terms adhere to company policies.

• Track and seek approvals for pricing exceptions, escalating issues when necessary.

• Validate forecast accuracy by confirming that the correct quotes are reflected in Salesforce opportunities.

• Check account legal entity names and billing addresses on documentation.

• Conduct post-close audits to ensure that SKU and support details are accurately recorded in contract files.

• Carry out onboarding, training, quote approvals, closed-deal evaluations, sales-team support, CPQ enablement, and engage in process improvement or cross-functional projects as responsibilities evolve.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Japanese.

• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.

• Familiarity with quoting tools, ideally Salesforce CPQ.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Understanding of subscription and perpetual models is advantageous.

• Capability to manage sales-team expectations under time constraints and shifting priorities.

• Skill in handling partner discounting and margins.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe DC.

• Strong mathematical skills and a data-driven mindset.

• Highly responsive with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision.
