Databricks Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to execute intricate AI, Engineering, and Data & Analytics projects on the Databricks platform.

• Act as a Databricks subject matter expert for our internal community of technical analytics consultants.

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on project delivery in a consulting capacity.

• Develop and present engaging technical and thought leadership materials on the latest Databricks features and best practices.

• Construct and deliver comprehensive technical tool demonstrations showcasing Databricks functionality and interoperability.

• Assist in channel and sales initiatives by offering architectural advice for potential clients and projects.

• Play a key role in enhancing our partnership with Databricks in the UK as a technical leader.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.

• Extensive consulting experience (7+ years) with strong communication and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote, and client-facing environment.

• In-depth knowledge of Databricks features, including AI, ML, Engineering, and Analytics functionalities.

• Minimum of 7 years of consulting (or equivalent) experience is required.

• At least 7 years of experience in Databricks solution design, implementation, and engineering is necessary.

• Either 5+ years of experience in building data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark, Scala, and/or Spark SQL, OR 5+ years in ML Engineering or AI Engineering focused on deploying, promoting, and serving ML models.

• Practical experience in streaming and front-end development.

• Proficient knowledge of Agent Ready Data architectures.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks ML and Gen AI features is essential.

• Expertise in software engineering or DevOps concepts and best practices is preferred.

• Experience in deploying and configuring metastores and workspaces using Terraform on any cloud platform is highly desirable.

• Any Databricks certifications are highly valued.

• Willingness to travel is required.
