Databricks Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver intricate AI, Engineering, and Data & Analytics projects.

• Act as a Databricks subject matter expert within our internal community.

• Provide technical direction and hands-on project execution.

• Contribute to enhancing our partnership with Databricks.

• Develop and present compelling technical and thought leadership content.

• Construct and showcase comprehensive end-to-end technical tool demonstrations.

• Assist in channel and sales initiatives by offering architecture advisory services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or possess equivalent experience.

• Demonstrate strong consulting skills (7+ years), along with exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Capability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, remote, and customer-facing environment.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of Databricks features, including AI, ML, Engineering, and Analytics.

• Have 7+ years of experience in Databricks solution design, implementation, and engineering.

• Experience of 5+ years in building data pipelines using Databricks with PySpark, Scala, and/or Spark SQL, or 5+ years in ML Engineering or AI Engineering focusing on deploying, promoting, and serving ML models.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks ML and Gen AI functionalities.

• Preferred expertise in software engineering or DevOps concepts and best practices.

• Desirable experience in using Terraform for deploying and configuring metastores and workspaces on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Any certifications from Databricks are highly valued.

• Willingness to travel is required.
