Databricks Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and develop data products using Databricks and dbt.

• Deliver practical code within an established CI/CD framework.

• Support the migration and modernization of treasury-related data solutions.

• Understand incoming data flows.

• Create calculations and transformations in dbt.

• Define scalable data architectures.

• Build robust data products.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

• Transfer a legacy treasury solution from SAC to Databricks, ensuring integrity, scalability, and alignment with architectural standards.

• Provide architectural support to existing Databricks solutions built on a legacy database environment.

• Optimize data structures, transformations, and overall platform design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum education: Certified Engineer.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• 7 to 10 years of total professional experience.

• At least 3 years working with the required technologies.

• Strong experience with Databricks.

• Experience with dbt.

• Background in data architecture.

• Prior experience in a Treasury environment is essential.

• Ability to understand treasury concepts, processes, and terminology.

• Capability to work independently in a fully remote international environment.

• Hands-on experience developing code within an established CI/CD framework.

• Knowledge of incoming data flows, calculations, transformations in dbt, scalable data architectures, and robust data products.
