Database Developer/Architect, Oracle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, design, and enhance Oracle Database systems within hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

• Collaborate with cloud engineers, application teams, cybersecurity experts, and customer stakeholders to develop data solutions.

• Facilitate the integration of Oracle databases with multi-cloud architectures.

• Lead cloud migration efforts, operational automation, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and the adoption of multi-cloud best practices.

• Ensure mission resilience and scalability for enterprise data operations.

• Utilize Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, OCI Database Services, SQL/PLSQL, and DevSecOps integration tools.

• Assist in the multi-cloud modernization initiatives for customers undergoing enterprise transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in administering Oracle databases.

• Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL.

• Experience in performance tuning.

• Familiarity with OCI database services.

• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and OCI multi-cloud environments.

• Experience with backup/recovery and database migration tools, such as Data Pump or GoldenGate.

• Ability to successfully pass a government security investigation for public trust suitability.

• Preferred: Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate/Professional.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting Oracle within multi-cloud or hybrid architectures.
