Database Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Assist in the setup and management of relational data models in accordance with the specifications of the Ivanti ITSM and Neurons platforms.

• Help in the transition of legacy records into the object structures of Ivanti.

• Contribute to the integration processes involving procurement systems, inventory resources, and automated discovery tools.

• Organize and facilitate data migration tasks, which include extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), as well as testing, cleanup, and validation.

• Work collaboratively with internal technical teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and verify data mappings, field configurations, and automation triggers.

• Create documentation for custom database structures, data dictionaries, and configuration elements to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory.

• 0–2 years of pertinent professional experience in Software Development, Maintenance, or Implementation.

• Equivalent experience may be considered with accredited college training (up to four years), graduate training (up to two years), or successful completion of an accredited Information Technology Certification program (up to two years, with proof of certification).

• Alternatively, two (2) years of experience as a Data Administrator, Data Warehousing Administrator, Data Architect, Database Analyst-Intermediate, or Data Warehousing Analyst may fulfill the experience requirement.

• Candidates must showcase experience as a Data Analyst, demonstrating the ability to assess existing tools and databases, recommend software solutions, and convert business requirements into straightforward, non-technical language.

• A robust understanding of methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases is essential.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Preference will be given to candidates with over nine years of experience in maintaining data storage and access through the evaluation, design, and implementation of company databases.
