Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for defining system scope and objectives in alignment with the organization’s business strategy and industry standards.

• Serves as a key contributor on a project team, offering technical insights regarding the business implications of various systems applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold IT-II security clearance or possess a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).

• Must have Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.

• Must have a DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

• Must have at least three (3) years of Financial Website experience within the Federal Government.

• Must have at least three (3) years of experience in Federal Government Audit Readiness & Reconciliation.

• Proficiency in Java, Python, WebLogic Scripting, Linux Shell scripting, C#, HTML/Javascript is required.

• Experience in performing Oracle database analysis tasks in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows development and production environments is necessary.

• Understanding and expertise in Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and data access optimizations is essential.

• Familiarity with PL/SQL, SQL Loader, and all facets of data ETL into Oracle databases on RHEL and Windows systems is required.

• Knowledge and experience with ArcSight are necessary.

• Knowledge and experience with Splunk are required.

• Experience with analytical database management on large-scale application data models is essential.

• Familiarity with Data mart population and dimensional models, including aggregation, partitioning, and indexing strategies is needed.

• Experience using data modeling tools, such as Erwin, for the development and documentation of logical and physical data models for all Oracle instances is necessary.

• Proven experience in demonstrating relevant tools and techniques such as coaching, advising, workshops, and mentoring.

• Experience at the organization level, providing executive coaching on the critical aspects of digital service delivery design is required.

• Requires exceptionally strong customer relations skills.
