This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the product vision, roadmap, and implementation for internal technical projects, emphasizing data-intensive systems and foundational datasets.
• Lead collaborative efforts to enhance the quality, reliability, and usability of internal systems, which include datasets, shared services, and internal platforms.
• Spearhead long-term projects aimed at future-proofing internal data and technology assets, ensuring they adapt to changing product, analytics, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, solutions analytics, and product stakeholders to grasp use cases, clarify requirements, and pinpoint interdependencies.
• Oversee the prioritization of competing internal demands, balancing immediate impact with long-term strategic benefits.
• Convert complex internal requirements into clear, actionable specifications and ensure alignment among teams.
• Utilize structured project management practices for initiatives involving multiple teams, ambiguous problem domains, and complex technical dependencies.
• Define and monitor success metrics for internal systems and datasets, including quality, completeness, latency, reliability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Communicate the roadmap, progress, risks, and trade-offs to internal stakeholders at all levels.
• 5+ years of experience with data-intensive or platform-oriented products, particularly focusing on data platforms.
• Hands-on experience managing large datasets, preferably within distributed or big-data settings (e.g., Spark, Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar).
• Strong comprehension of big data principles, data pipelines, data cleaning/normalization, and data modeling.
• Proven ability to effectively partner with engineering, data science, and analytics teams in addressing deeply technical challenges.
• Experience leading significant internal initiatives with multiple stakeholders while managing extensive cross-functional dependencies.
• Demonstrated skill in structuring ambiguous requirements, prioritizing effectively, and ensuring reliable execution on complex technical programs.
• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of elucidating technical concepts to diverse audiences and fostering team alignment.
