Data Scientist – User Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design and development of algorithmic strategies aimed at user growth, which includes user segmentation, intelligent recommendations, and the optimization of incentive strategies.

• Create user lifecycle models that encompass LTV prediction, churn alerts, and conversion forecasts, utilizing user behavior data.

• Design and execute A/B testing experiments to assess growth strategies, facilitating ongoing iteration and optimization.

• Investigate user traits and behavioral patterns through machine learning and causal inference techniques to enhance retention and conversion rates.

• Collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to translate algorithmic capabilities into quantifiable business growth outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Available for an internship of at least 4 days per week for a minimum duration of 3 months.

• Strong foundation in machine learning, with knowledge of LR, GBDT, and DNN models and their applicable scenarios.

• Proficient in Python, NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn for data analysis and modeling tasks.

• Excellent SQL skills for independently extracting and analyzing data from databases.

• Familiarity with recommender systems, causal inference, reinforcement learning, or operations research/optimization is advantageous.

• Previous internship or project experience related to user growth, computational advertising, or search/recommendation systems is a plus.

• Strong communication abilities and self-motivation, with a capacity to learn swiftly and solve problems independently.

• Experience in data science competitions, Uplift Modeling, Multi-Armed Bandit, Spark, Flink, or relevant publications are considered beneficial.
