Data Scientist, Risk-Based Quality Management Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on designated projects to deliver tailored analytics solutions.

• Ensure analytical outputs are uniform across projects whenever applicable.

• Enhance user experience in accordance with team design principles and guidelines.

• Utilize established statistical methods and suggest additional techniques to address business challenges.

• Facilitate data-driven insights for designated projects.

• Engage in functional innovation and process enhancement initiatives as assigned.

• Implement advanced analytics techniques, such as machine learning and visual analytics, throughout the clinical development continuum.

• Recognize business requirements and assist in the creation of standard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reports, and statistical analyses.

• Propel analytics innovation and experimentation for intricate R&D business issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science, or a related field.

• Master’s degree is preferred.

• 2–3 years of experience in data science and analytics.

• Complete or career-level proficiency in R, Python, SQL, or other statistical software.

• Intermediate knowledge of statistical and data mining methods.

• Intermediate proficiency with visualization tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar.

• Experience with machine learning and other advanced analytics techniques is preferred.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to convey analytical and technical concepts in simple terms.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Proven capability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

• Competence in managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Compliance with federal and relevant local regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), ICH Guidelines, AbbVie Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and functional quality standards.
