This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create cutting-edge AI solutions utilizing machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI technologies.
• Promote the adoption of contemporary AI development methodologies and scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Provide technical guidance and engage with senior stakeholders regarding architectural principles, strategic direction, and system architecture.

• Oversee, mentor, and develop a team.

• A minimum of a 2.1 degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality AI/ML solutions.
• Proven track record in technical leadership for AI delivery, encompassing architecture, product design principles, and engineering excellence.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in developing AI/ML models, including time series, supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and LLMs.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python and a solid foundation in software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
• Expertise in data engineering for AI, particularly with large-scale, unstructured, and multimodal data.
• Awareness of responsible AI principles, model interpretability, and ethical considerations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to lead client projects, engage with C-level stakeholders, and define requirements and architecture concepts.
• Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing junior team members and the broader community.
• Desirable: experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, fine-tuning or distillation of LLMs, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
• Desirable: experience with vector databases, semantic search, and knowledge graphs.
• Desirable: contributions to open-source AI projects, research publications, and participation in industry events/websites.
• Familiarity with AI security, privacy, and compliance standards such as ISO 42001.
