Data Scientist Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, testing, and enhancement of machine learning and AI models.

• Support activities related to data collection, preparation, transformation, and analysis.

• Engage in experiments and evaluations to pinpoint opportunities for model enhancement.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams on solutions powered by AI.

• Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate findings and insights.

• Contribute to documentation, presentations, and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Acquire and implement best practices in machine learning, software development, and data science.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and generative AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Foundational understanding of statistics, machine learning, and data analysis.

• Experience with Python, SQL, R, or similar programming languages gained through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects.

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.

• Interest in generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Capability to work with both structured and unstructured data.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to function effectively both independently and within a collaborative team setting.
