This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
β’ Provide technical guidance across the entire Analytics function
β’ Articulate complex data analysis concepts during client engagements
β’ Develop, sustain, and enhance enterprise AML/CTF models as well as AI solutions
β’ Support regulatory obligations and TDβs global AML/CTF initiatives
β’ Address emerging financial crime threats and assist with customer ratings, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, model performance assessment, analytics, and reporting
β’ Spearhead and finalize intricate projects that integrate cross-functional processes
β’ Conduct independent analysis, design, and support for technical data management solutions
β’ Manage and prioritize various projects along with long-term functional planning
β’ Collaborate with business owners to identify opportunities and act as a data science ambassador
β’ Convert business challenges into actionable data science solutions
β’ Extract and prepare data, apply statistical methods and advanced analytics, and generate insights from large datasets
β’ Visualize insights and convey results to decision-makers and stakeholders
β’ Work alongside analysts, engineers, and application developers to create scalable data science solutions
β’ Provide analytical thought leadership and educate the organization on hypothesis testing and statistical validation
β’ Identify risks, offer guidance, and lead remediation strategies for performance, risk, and governance challenges
β’ Monitor service levels, productivity, efficiency, and implement continuous process improvements
β’ Cultivate relationships across business lines and control functions
β’ Uphold risk management and control processes in alignment with regulatory standards and risk appetite
β’ Mentor colleagues, share expertise, and contribute to team development
β’ Candidates must be either a U.S. citizen or a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
β’ Must not require current or future TD sponsorship
β’ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or progressive project work experience with a preferred undergraduate or advanced technical degree
β’ Strong foundation in statistics, regression, classification, machine learning models, and anomaly detection techniques
β’ Robust numerical intuition and the ability to assess model outputs, data quality, and performance trade-offs
β’ Proficient in Python and SQL
β’ Experience in Financial Crimes / Compliance Risk Analytics is advantageous
β’ Hands-on experience with GenAI applications, including fine-tuning or prompting LLMs, is highly desirable
β’ Ability to create analytical solutions utilizing LLM APIs and leverage GenAI applications for data labeling solutions
β’ Capability to work with data infrastructure, big data, and advanced analytics
β’ Willingness to collaborate with data and business analysts, software engineers, data engineers, and application developers
β’ Ability to fulfill the stated physical requirements, including prolonged sedentary work, sitting, concentration, reading, writing, and performing arithmetic operations
