Data Scientist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Aid in the preparation, transformation, and thorough analysis of intricate data from real-world sources.

• Play a role in the development, validation, and upkeep of customer-facing machine learning models and solid data pipelines.

• Assist in decomposing project requirements into manageable, actionable, and deliverable components.

• Produce clean, well-documented code while adhering to best practices in software engineering.

• Advocate for initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality and integrity throughout the organization.

• Conduct in-depth analyses of datasets to discover hidden patterns and unearth new opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning/AI.

• Strong practical knowledge of Python programming.

• Familiarity with SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

• Experience with Snowflake, AWS cloud platforms, or GIS data analysis is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of statistics, algorithms, and fundamental data science principles.

• Practical experience with data visualization tools (such as Streamlit, Sigma, or Dash).

• Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings.

• Must be self-driven and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
