This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers on product teams to enhance acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and customer experience.
• Work alongside Marketing, Finance, and Operations to identify growth opportunities and make informed business decisions.
• Champion and support experimentation and decision-making frameworks to enable rapid product launches and confident iterations.
• Establish Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and success metrics to ensure alignment among teams around measurable outcomes.
• Leverage statistical analysis, forecasting, causal inference, and machine learning to gain insights into user behavior and business performance.
• Discover high-impact opportunities through the analysis of user journeys, lifecycle behaviors, conversion funnels, and financial metrics.
• Provide data-driven insights regarding impact, trade-offs, and ROI to inform team and company priorities.
• Create dashboards, models, and self-service tools to enhance visibility into growth and business performance.
• Collaborate with the Data team to maintain a consistent and shared data layer.
• Cultivate a culture of experimentation, curiosity, and evidence-based decision-making.
• Over 8 years of experience in data science, growth analytics, experimentation, or similar roles within high-growth environments.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Comprehensive understanding of experimentation, causal inference, statistical analysis, forecasting, and ICP development.
• Strong product and business acumen, with the ability to link user behavior to business results.
• Proven experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Finance, Operations, or Product.
• Ability to work independently and lead ambiguous projects from ideation to execution.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to influence decisions using data and clear rationale.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute multiple projects with a keen eye for detail.
• Inquisitive, proactive, and action-oriented in rapidly evolving environments.
• Solid understanding of dashboarding and data visualization tools.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in startup or high-growth consumer landscapes.
• Familiarity with tools like PostHog, Statsig, or Amplitude.
• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, and modern data stacks.
• Background in lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation, or growth modeling.
• Current Shakepay customer and/or awareness of the product.
• Passion for Bitcoin and non-sovereign currencies.
• Fluency in English is a must.
