This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Design and execute techniques and analytical applications to convert raw data into valuable insights.
• Construct and assess marketing machine learning models utilizing both first- and third-party customer data.
• Oversee and manage comprehensive projects, encompassing analysis design, execution, and result summarization.
• Create scalable data pipelines for feature extraction utilizing cloud services.
• Identify, clean, analyze, and summarize data from various complex sources.
• Prototype and implement innovative solutions to enhance the performance of existing machine learning models.
• Document research methodologies, outcomes, and conclusions.
• Communicate research results and recommendations to audiences with diverse levels of expertise.
• Collaborate with data engineering and operations teams to operationalize efforts.
• Automate routine analyses and model-building processes.
• Engage in planning, roadmap, and architecture discussions to advance AI processes and enhance revenue-generating products.
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a computer-related role.
• At least two years of experience in programming and data analysis with Java, Python, Shell Scripting, PySpark, or SAS SQL.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with Tableau, AWS QuickSight, JavaScript, matplotlib, and seaborn.
• Familiarity with Pentaho, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, RDS, SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, or Athena.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, feature engineering, or hyperparameter tuning.
• Solid understanding of probability and statistics.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience using Jenkins or Git for version control.
• Competence in data exploration and data visualization.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
