Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design and execute techniques or analytics applications to convert raw data into valuable insights

• Construct and assess Marketing ML models utilizing both first-party and third-party customer data

• Oversee and execute complete projects, encompassing analysis design, implementation, and result summarization

• Develop scalable data pipelines for feature extraction leveraging cloud services

• Identify, clean, analyze, and summarize data from diverse and intricate data sources

• Prototype and implement advanced solutions to improve the performance of existing ML models

• Document research methodologies, findings, and conclusions

• Present research findings and recommendations to audiences with varying expertise levels

• Collaborate with data engineering and operations teams to bring projects into production

• Automate repetitive analyses and model-building tasks

• Engage in planning, roadmap, and architecture discussions to advance AI processes and enhance revenue-generating products

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline

• Two (2) years of experience in a computer-related occupation

• Two (2) years of experience in programming and data analysis utilizing Java, Python, Shell Scripting, PySpark, or SAS SQL

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Proficiency in Tableau, AWS QuickSight, JavaScript, matplotlib, and seaborn

• Experience with Pentaho, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Hadoop

• Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, RDS, SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, or Athena

• Experience with supervised learning, unsupervised learning, feature engineering, or hyperparameter tuning

• Understanding of probability and statistics

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Familiarity with Jenkins or Git for version control

• Experience in data exploration and data visualization

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
