Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop machine learning and AI solutions that assist in pricing, forecasting, and revenue management decisions within the hospitality sector.

• Examine large and sometimes complex datasets to discover patterns, risks, and opportunities, transforming them into actionable recommendations or product functionalities.

• Write efficient Python and SQL code while engaging with data pipelines and analytical processes to prepare, validate, and operationalize data.

• Thoughtfully utilize modern AI techniques, including LLMs and AI coding tools like Claude Code, to enhance prototyping, learning, and development while ensuring technical excellence.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to convert business challenges into analytical solutions and convey insights effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics, machine learning, or a related discipline, including internships, research, senior projects, or significant independent projects.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research, computer science, engineering, or another quantitative field.

• Practical coding experience in Python, knowledge of SQL, and familiarity with contemporary data analysis and machine learning processes.

• Capability to structure ambiguous issues, select appropriate analytical methods, and clearly articulate trade-offs, limitations, and recommendations.

• Strong curiosity, sense of ownership, and ability to learn quickly, with an interest in hospitality, travel, pricing, forecasting, or other business challenges where analytics can directly impact results.

• Experience in revenue management, pricing, forecasting, segmentation, or other relevant analytical domains.

• Experience in creating reusable or scalable solutions, such as a data pipeline, internal tool, model workflow, or decision-support analysis.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, business intelligence tools, or modern AI tools within technical workflows.
