Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Integrate into a key business sector: growth marketing, product development, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships

• Oversee the analytical function for the business unit from start to finish

• Identify the business questions and decisions that analyses should address

• Question flawed or ambiguous inquiries prior to conducting analysis

• Establish metrics, create reports, perform analyses, and design experiments

• Highlight data insights that enhance essential business metrics

• Provide recommendations to product, growth, finance, and operations teams

• Clarify ongoing situations, explain the reasons behind them, and suggest actionable next steps

• Propel decisions and carry out initiatives to completion

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, or a rapidly growing technology company

• Strong analytical capabilities; proficient in independently gathering, structuring, and interpreting data

• Proven history of tackling ambiguous problems and delivering significant results

• Effective and persuasive communicator capable of influencing decisions at the executive level

• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with SQL or Python

• Experience in defining metrics, creating reports, performing analyses, and designing experiments

• Tools: SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, JupyterHub, GitHub

• Must currently reside in an eligible location: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
