Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the analytical function from start to finish for a growing embedded business unit focused on product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships.

• Identify the business challenges, inquiries, and decisions that the analysis needs to tackle.

• Establish metrics, create reports, conduct analyses, and design experiments.

• Highlight data insights that influence key business metrics.

• Provide recommendations to teams in product, growth, finance, and operations.

• Clarify the current situation and its implications, while suggesting actionable next steps.

• Lead initiatives from insights to execution, ensuring measurable outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, or a high-growth tech company.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Proficient in independently extracting, structuring, and interpreting data.

• Proven history of tackling ambiguous issues and delivering impactful results.

• Excellent and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to sway decisions at the leadership level.

• Proficient in SQL or Python.

• Ability to translate vague problems into clear hypotheses for data analysis.

• Experience in defining metrics, generating reports, performing analyses, and designing experiments.

• Familiarity with SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub.

• Must currently reside in one of the eligible U.S. states or Ontario, Canada.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada is mandatory at the time of application.
