This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend objectives and convert them into effective ML/AI models aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes for children.
• Collaborate with the Staff Data Scientist and various teams to establish requirements, enhance data collection, create data assets, and provide insights regarding business strategy and patient care.
• Construct ML models that integrate clinical, claims, and social determinants of health (SDoH) data to generate actionable recommendations.
• Independently extract data from Snowflake and prepare it for exploratory data analysis and modeling.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience, demonstrating proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Solid foundation in study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, and research methodologies.
• Capability to collaborate with and present findings to non-technical personnel throughout the organization.
• Experience in a start-up or growth environment is essential.
• Background in healthcare is preferred.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, and/or Tableau.
• A strong passion and commitment to revolutionizing pediatric healthcare and assisting children with special health care needs.
