This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Participate in the design and development of intelligent systems that enable Liquid Engine to comprehend workflow context, monitor changes over time, and ensure consistent outputs.
• Convert creative and production workflows into structured formats such as entities, relationships, rules, and graphs.
• Assist in creating systems for monitoring state, version history, provenance, and dependencies across various workflows.
• Develop rule-based and heuristic systems that detect conflicts, assess consistency, and highlight issues before they lead to downstream complications.
• Aid in change impact analysis by enabling the system to understand dependencies, cascades, and the implications of workflows.
• Create evaluation frameworks that assess the usefulness of systems, the quality of outputs, and the reduction of manual rework.
• Collaborate with engineering on event pipelines, data models, and system architecture that facilitate intelligent system behavior.
• Contribute to explainable recommendation and decision-support systems that are rooted in workflow context.
• Assist in defining telemetry, measurement, and governance strategies for intelligence features throughout the platform.
• 4–8+ years of experience in data science, applied machine learning, or systems-oriented analytics.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with complex data systems.
• Familiarity with graph-based or relational reasoning.
• Understanding of deterministic versus probabilistic systems.
• Ability to transform ambiguous domains into structured methodologies.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction between technical and non-technical teams.
