Data Scientist, Application Developer – Secret Cleared

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Execute data discovery and exploratory data analysis on both structured and unstructured datasets.

• Carry out data cleansing, normalization, aggregation, and modeling processes.

• Design and develop analytic applications in Palantir Foundry, which includes creating dashboards and interactive workflows.

• Utilize advanced analytics and statistical techniques such as regression, clustering, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing.

• Integrate AI/ML functionalities (including LLMs, NLP, RAG/GraphRAG) into analytic workflows.

• Produce clear visualizations and metrics to facilitate executive and operational decision-making.

• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum framework to swiftly iterate on solutions.

• Effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen (No dual citizenship permitted).

• Active DoD Secret clearance is mandatory.

• Extensive experience in data science and analytics, including EDA, data wrangling, modeling, and statistical analysis.

• Proficient in Python and associated analytics/pipeline libraries (such as pandas, polars, and PySpark).

• Familiarity with AI/ML and statistical modeling tools (including scikit-learn, statsmodels, Prophet; NLP tools like spaCy or NLTK).

• Proven experience in building production-grade analytics solutions (applications, dashboards, notebooks).

• Skilled in data visualization utilizing Python libraries or BI tools (such as matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik).

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment with changing requirements.

• Strong communication abilities for presenting insights to non-technical audiences.

• Educational background in statistics, mathematics, operations research, or applied sciences.

• Experience with Palantir Foundry, Databricks, or comparable data platforms.
