This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Transform inquiries from product management, engineering, and business into organized analytical strategies, utilizing suitable statistical, experimental, and data science techniques to assess product performance and inform decision-making.
• Take ownership of the data quality for ZestyAI's data products.
• Lead product monitoring and quality assurance by designing and managing dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Create automated ETL processes and data workflows.
• Continuously iterate on all tasks; all the above occurs in a dynamic, business-driven environment that you should be comfortable navigating.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree is certainly advantageous.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in analytics, data science, or similar roles, including experience in building data workflows, defining metrics, and creating dashboards or monitoring tools.
• Strong organizational and management capabilities, with prior experience in implementing best practices and processes.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work with ambiguous, cross-functional queries.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Proficient in a programming language such as Python or R.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, etc.).
• Must possess legal eligibility to work in Canada.
