📋 Description

• Develop, validate, and implement statistical and predictive models that have a direct impact on pricing, matching, and growth strategies.

• Enhance and innovate LLM-powered features, from RAG pipelines to the application of emerging AI technologies.

• Guarantee the reliability of our AI functionalities: design workflows to assess performance, evaluate output quality, and identify regressions.

• Convert open questions into testable hypotheses and design experiments (such as A/B tests) that yield clear, actionable insights.

• Examine funnels and user journeys to pinpoint drop-offs and areas of friction, and assess where supply and demand can be better aligned.

• Work alongside performance marketing to enhance targeting and campaign effectiveness through data analysis.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), create dashboards, and track them to ensure business impact is both visible and measurable.

• Document, prioritize, and share progress in Jira across product, engineering, and marketing teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have a passion for working with data: exploring, modeling, and enhancing data quality.

• Strong foundation in statistics: you understand which method suits which problem and can justify your assumptions beyond just using default library options.

• Proficient in Python (including pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy) and SQL, with proven practical experience.

• Hands-on expertise in machine learning and contemporary AI techniques from the ideation phase to user-facing production.

• Practical experience with LLMs and RAG systems in production or near-production environments.

• Solid grasp of A/B testing concepts: including sample size, significance, common pitfalls, and recognizing when an experiment may not be appropriate.

• Project experience in at least one of the following fields: anomaly detection, trend analysis, marketing-mix modeling, or multi-touch attribution.

• Background in e-commerce, marketplaces, or other platform business models.

🏝️ Benefits

• Flat hierarchies with swift decision-making processes (startup mentality) and a transparent company culture with supportive, communicative colleagues.

• Regular feedback sessions.

• A pleasant work environment (open-plan office located in the heart of Berlin-Mitte) with an option for remote work.

• A very friendly and cooperative working atmosphere.

• Complimentary beverages.
