This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Set up, configure, and oversee SQDR and SQDR Plus environments, which includes intermediate hosts and control databases.

• Implement and supervise Change Data Capture (CDC) utilizing native log APIs or ODBC, based on the source system.

• Create and implement replication topologies: one-to-one, hub-and-spoke, or fan-out.

• Configure and sustain replication jobs, agents, services, and web consoles.

• Ensure the resilience of replication through configurations for failover and load balancing.

• Resolve issues related to replication errors, log miner failures, ODBC/API connectivity, and performance bottlenecks.

• Enhance performance by fine-tuning parallel jobs, core allocations, memory, and thread usage.

• Collaborate with DBAs and infrastructure teams regarding archive log settings, database triggers, and schema modifications.

• Establish and uphold SLA thresholds, alerts, and monitoring dashboards.

• Maintain the security posture of replication systems, including role-based access, logging, and auditing.

• Document the replication architecture, recovery procedures, and client-specific playbooks.

• Engage in disaster recovery and high availability validation testing.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field of study.

• Over 3 years of experience in data replication or integration engineering roles.

• Certification in relevant database technologies or data integration tools is advantageous.
