Data Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive data profiling and analysis to uncover data quality issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies.

• Design and implement data quality checks, rules, and metrics utilizing suitable tools and methodologies.

• Automate data quality assessments and reporting wherever possible to boost efficiency and scalability.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor data health and track enhancements over time.

• Investigate and identify the root causes of intricate data quality challenges.

• Create Jira tickets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure issues are addressed with appropriate root cause analysis (RCA) and remediation strategies.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancing data quality processes, workflows, and tools.

• Communicate data quality issues, risks, and progress updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for data quality within the organization.

• Actively seek out new data validations and checks to enhance overall data quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience as a data quality analyst.

• Proficient in SQL for data querying, analysis, and manipulation.

• Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and a firm grasp of analyzing and resolving data quality issues within SFDC.

• Capability to identify data quality challenges and ascertain their root causes.

• Familiarity with the Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) process.

• Experience with data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform under tight deadlines in a rapidly growing environment.

• Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex data quality issues.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
