Data Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Validate and approve CRM migration datasets prior to production deployment by ensuring completeness, consistency, and overall data quality.

• Assess production data updates and validate SQL scripts before execution to guarantee the safety and accuracy of large-scale changes.

• Create automated validation queries that identify missing records, duplicate entities, broken relationships, and other integrity challenges within migrated datasets.

• Contrast source CRM exports with Dwelly data to confirm successful migration and investigate any discrepancies.

• Analyze unexpected migration outcomes, pinpoint root causes of inconsistencies, and collaborate with engineers to resolve intricate data issues.

• Recognize recurring migration challenges and assist in enhancing migration processes, validation tools, and overall data quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, aggregations, window functions, and update scripts.

• Experience in validating production data or managing large database migrations.

• Strong grasp of relational databases and principles of data integrity.

• Experience in investigating inconsistencies within large datasets.

• Comfortable comparing data from various systems and identifying discrepancies.

• Capability to design automated validation checks instead of depending on manual inspection.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong sense of ownership with the confidence to approve or reject production data changes.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently in uncertain situations.

• Proficient in utilizing modern AI development tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or similar) to enhance productivity, resolve data issues, generate SQL, automate repetitive tasks, and expedite analysis while upholding high standards of accuracy and review.
