Data Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design the comprehensive architecture for the operational data platform.

• Collaborate with partner teams to establish and manage reference architectures.

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks.

• Lead the assessment and selection of relevant real-time data technologies.

• Act as the architectural authority for intricate design choices.

• Offer technical coaching and mentorship to Data Producer & Consumer teams.

• Operate at the cutting edge of Gravie’s Data Platform innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-15 years of experience in architecting and managing large-scale data integrations, streaming pipelines, and operational data movement within a cloud environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with Kafka, Flink, and Debezium (or similar technologies).

• Extensive familiarity with AWS.

• Profound understanding of data observability principles.

• Prior experience in a healthcare environment, with comprehensive knowledge of HIPAA and ePHI.

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python.

• Proven ability to tackle complex, ambiguous challenges and drive them to tangible, measurable outcomes.

• Demonstrated success in achieving results through influence and collaboration.

• Previous experience in a venture-backed start-up environment.
