Data Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Oversee the operational lifecycle of external data partnerships after contract execution.

• Manage secure transfers of biomedical data using cloud infrastructure and standardized protocols.

• Collaborate with internal technical and product teams to establish and uphold unified data models and metadata standards.

• Work closely with engineering and data teams to set up and maintain efficient ingestion and quality control pipelines.

• Identify missing data, inconsistencies, corruption, or mismatches in metadata and directly engage with external partners to resolve these issues.

• Maintain a centralized “single source of truth” for all incoming datasets, tracking ingestion status, completeness, quality control status, and milestone progress.

• Partner closely with Data Science, Engineering, Legal, and Partnership teams to ensure operational execution aligns with business and scientific priorities.

• Conduct regular visits to partner hospitals, biobanks, and laboratories to facilitate onboarding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of clinical and biomedical data structures, encompassing real-world data, clinical trial datasets, and multi-omics data modalities.

• Proven track record in managing data lifecycles within cloud environments, especially AWS (S3, CLI, access management).

• Proficient in Python or R, along with SQL for data querying and transformation.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple external collaborations and operational workstreams concurrently.

• Comfortable working independently in uncertain environments.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
