Data Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold the project data management plan, which encompasses secure methods for storage, transfer, retention, and destruction of data.

• Implement encrypted storage and transmission systems for recordings and transcripts.

• Develop de-identified datasets compliant with FISMA, systematically arranged by site and including data user manuals in formats requested by the CDC.

• Oversee de-identification processes and the custody of identification keys.

• Prepare codebooks and coded datasets for submission and long-term applicability.

• Collaborate with the Qualitative Research Analyst on the construction of datasets.

• Work alongside the Regulatory Affairs Specialist to ensure compliance with data security regulations.

• Assist in incident response and procedures for safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in line with contract stipulations.

• Ensure compliance with data retention policies and the destruction process as outlined in the data security plan.

• Analyze intricate datasets to derive insights and facilitate informed decision-making.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to pinpoint business challenges and formulate data-driven solutions.

• Effectively communicate findings derived from data analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of the requisite certifications mandated for the role as specified by the contract.

• Proven experience in constructing and managing research datasets in alignment with comparable federal security standards.

• Expertise in the de-identification of sensitive information.

• Experience with secure mechanisms for data storage and transfer.

• Preferred familiarity with qualitative data structures and codebook formatting.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Seven to nine years of relevant experience.

• Ability to adhere to federal contractor drug-free workplace policies and the Federal Controlled Substance Act.
