Data Management Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee reporting pipelines within Prefect, Task Scheduler, Snowflake, and WhereScape RED, proactively addressing failures before they impact dashboards.

• Develop and sustain alerts, scripts, and trackers for overdue jobs, unsuccessful runs, and data quality concerns.

• Verify data integrity from the source through its transformation into the data warehouse.

• Diagnose pipeline, vendor, and reporting challenges, offering solutions for Snowflake, WhereScape, or Python.

• Collaborate with data engineers and BI developers to rectify defects and enhance monitoring capabilities.

• Keep architecture and troubleshooting documentation up to date.

• Audit workflows to ensure compliance with naming conventions, documentation, and quality standards.

• Manage the pipeline catalog serving as a data governance steward.

• Establish and sustain MCP servers and semantic-layer metadata to support AI-driven analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering support, QA, or data operations.

• Proficient in SQL troubleshooting, including interpreting queries, validating outputs, and diagnosing issues at the warehouse level.

• Familiarity with Python for reviewing pipeline and alerting scripts and suggesting modifications.

• Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Prefect, Airflow, or equivalent.

• A data governance perspective encompassing documentation, data quality, access, and change management.

• Strong communication and prioritization abilities.

• Experience with Snowflake is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Tableau, WhereScape, hospitality data, and MCP or AI-layer exposure is advantageous.
