Business Systems Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze, comprehend, and convert business requirements into executive reports and/or business/technical documentation with minimal oversight.

• Conduct business requirements gathering and develop deliverables.

• Perform thorough research.

• Evaluate feasible solution alternatives.

• Produce technical documentation, high-level solution designs, and project schedules.

• Stress test solution outcomes prior to production deployment.

• Execute testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Engage in the entire system development life cycle.

• Supervise the mapping documents and maintenance of Special Investigations financial data tables.

• Collaborate with IT and/or Analytics concerning data table issues and space planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

• 4–6 years of relevant IT experience, ideally within the health insurance sector.

• Significant involvement in major company initiatives and some leadership experience.

• Development proficiency in one or more of Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, or Python.

• Familiarity with claims, provider, and member data domains and their interrelations.

• Understanding of the system development life cycle and implementation methodologies.

• Experience with tools and methodologies such as SIPOC to pinpoint process and operational efficiencies.

• Proficient in structured query languages or analytical techniques.

• Capability to impose structure on loosely defined issues.

• Comprehension of core business functions.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage several projects at once.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong computer skills.

• Outstanding organizational capabilities.

• Preferably, working knowledge of programming, development, and technical architecture.

• Experience as a Tableau Developer is preferred.

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
