This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the integration of intricate healthcare data packages, which include medical claims, pharmacy claims, revenue cycle billing, ADT, clinical/EMR, FHIR, and value-based care financial datasets into tailored or Ursa Studio standard data models by collaborating with clients and Ursa Health teams.
• Develop and implement robust validation checks to ensure data integrity, prevent degradation of analytics, and maintain the trust of clients.
• Engage with clients to comprehend their data, its constraints, and the intended analytical applications to aid them in interpreting insights that drive their business decisions.
• Communicate effectively with both internal and client teams to collect and understand the essential information required for successful project completion, documenting both the process and final outputs in a manner accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers, customer success, and product teams to align project delivery with client expectations while identifying product development opportunities based on client needs and data behavior.
• Assist client teams in advancing their implementation projects, including training, measure development, and report analysis.
• Thoughtfully utilize AI-assisted tools to expedite and enhance delivery, applying domain expertise and human insight to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Stay informed about data security and privacy protocols and policies.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and work with the Incident Response Team as required.
• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years of experience in the healthcare financial domain (e.g., claims, provider billing data), clinical, or pharmacy data sectors
• Knowledge of healthcare data integration principles, common data sources (payer data files, EMR/EHR systems), data formats (claims, billing, X12 835/837/270, HL7 ADT, FHIR), and medical coding standards (CPT, ICD-10)
• 4+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and processes.
• 4+ years of comprehensive experience in data integration (including data discovery, cleansing, curation, analysis, transformation, validation, and maintenance).
• High proficiency in SQL, relational database systems (e.g., Snowflake, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and data modeling.
