This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement new architectures, designs, best practices, templates, standards, guidelines, and models to directly support the 1 and 5-year payer market strategy and business growth objectives.
• Create application and database architectures that ensure optimal scalability, configurability, compliance, and modular reusability on both cloud (Azure and AWS, Databricks, SqlServer) and on-premises (Windows, dotNET) platforms.
• Integrate cutting-edge AI LLM techniques to enhance the productivity, quality, and effectiveness of transactional applications while merging unstructured and structured data.
• Analyze current applications and databases for scalability and develop solutions to address performance bottlenecks and facilitate growth.
• Assess and evaluate new AppDev technologies.
• Generate various Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new applications, services, and application components that demonstrate innovative methods for scalable data architectures.
• Review business processes—both manual and automated—and propose solutions aimed at enhancing productivity, quality, flexibility, and throughput.
• Support the development of business proposals and presentations for management and customers.
• Mentor, train, and offer expert guidance to development teams.
• Provide Level 3 production support as required.
• Contribute to project planning and the implementation of AGILE methodologies, including daily planning and execution tasks.
• Serve as the technical representative in executive meetings, cross-functional governance sessions, and client-facing solution presentations.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in software technology.
• At least 5 years in a senior product/platform leadership role.
• Previous experience in launching two or more successful, long-lasting enterprise-scale platforms within a regulated, data-intensive industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• A Master’s degree in computer science and/or business management is preferred.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems.
• In-depth understanding of the U.S. healthcare payer domain, particularly in claims processing, adjudication, and payment integrity.
• Familiarity with regulations such as HIPAA, CMS audit requirements, and healthcare data interoperability.
• Proven track record in building platforms that effectively scale across large healthcare client portfolios.
• Experience in modernizing legacy systems into modular, API-first, scalable platforms.
• Strong communication skills with an executive presence and exceptional storytelling abilities.
