Data Information Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute queries on SQL, NoSQL, Redis, logs, and grep-based data sources while adhering to secure query and data modeling standards.

• Strengthen database infrastructure and enhance access control measures.

• Implement anonymization techniques and functions within PostgreSQL (PL/SQL), T-SQL, and comparable technologies.

• Assist data and development teams in establishing secure data models that comply with Brazil’s LGPD and PCI-DSS regulations.

• Gather, analyze, and interpret extensive volumes of security data to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Create and sustain dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights into information security.

• Work alongside security, IT, and other departments to deploy data security solutions.

• Monitor and react to security incidents, investigating and alleviating threats through data analysis.

• Establish and maintain security data analysis tools, including big data platforms.

• Engage in risk assessments and security audits, offering data-driven insights.

• Aid in the formulation and execution of security policies and procedures.

• Perform forensic analysis of security incidents utilizing advanced data mining methods.

• Remain updated on trends, cyber threats, technologies, and data analysis techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in information security data analysis.

• Proficient knowledge of SQL, Python, R, and data visualization platforms like Power BI and Tableau.

• Familiarity with big data tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of incident management, risk assessments, and techniques for threat mitigation.

• Capability to manage large datasets and conduct intricate analyses.

• Relevant certifications, such as CISM, CEH, or equivalent certifications (preferred).

• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applied to information security (preferred).

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, Brazil’s LGPD, and PCI-DSS (preferred).

• Background in forensic analysis and cybersecurity incident response (preferred).

• Understanding of security protocols in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments (preferred).
