This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Analyze and audit closing allocation and payment spreadsheets, which include shareholder, certificate, tax, and payment instruction data, to ensure thoroughness and precision before importing.
• Standardize and manipulate data utilizing established import templates to create and update Customer information in NetSuite.
• Perform independent validation by contrasting NetSuite records with source documents and import instructions to verify the accuracy of imported data prior to downstream processing.
• Import and export CSV files using saved mappings in NetSuite, ensuring compliance with necessary formatting, field mapping, and validation controls.
• Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies, such as name mismatches, absent holders, certificate discrepancies, or payment variances, escalating issues to cross-functional partners when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with Fulfillment, Relationship Management, Tax, and other Operations teams to confirm data requirements and address queries related to import instructions or source files.
• Consult Operations manuals, templates, and guidelines to comprehend process changes and facilitate business continuity.
• Execute recurring daily and weekly operational tasks on a rotational basis.
• Deliver clear written and verbal updates to internal stakeholders concerning deal status, data issues, and completion milestones.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience in financial operations, data operations, or a similar analyst role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data manipulation; experience with structured templates is preferred.
• Experience with ERP or financial systems (NetSuite or similar highly preferred) and adherence to detailed, documented procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, with the capability to identify discrepancies across large datasets and multiple source documents.
• Ability to handle competing priorities and meet critical deadlines in a high-volume, transaction-driven environment.
• Comfort in working within cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Familiarity with the M&A lifecycle or post-closing financial processes is an advantage.
