This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with district teams through calls and screen sharing to set up data extracts from SIS platforms.
• Establish data connections with vendor partners, including the setup of SSO for new collaborators.
• Clearly communicate data-related issues to district contacts, asking pertinent questions to collect the necessary information for resolution.
• Assist partners in navigating the data sourcing process, clarifying what is required and the reasons behind it.
• Ensure that data extracts align with quality standards prior to transferring to the Partner Success Team, validating file headers, record counts, and confirming that essential values are present.
• Perform basic data analysis on incoming datasets to detect potential issues early on.
• Oversee incoming data jobs to proactively identify and address failures.
• Address Jira tickets, making initial attempts to diagnose issues before escalating as necessary.
• Document new findings and procedures related to extracting data from SIS platforms, contributing to team playbooks.
• 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as data onboarding, technical support, solutions engineering, or a related field.
• Strongly preferred: Knowledge of SIS — you have a working understanding of Student Information Systems and can navigate and extract data from these platforms.
• Strongly preferred: Experience in K–12 education is a significant advantage — you comprehend how districts operate and how student data correlates with learning outcomes.
• Comfortable with basic data analysis — validating file structures, ensuring record completeness, and identifying issues in incoming data.
• Familiarity with SQL is preferred; however, a willingness to develop SQL skills on the job is equally appreciated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical district contacts.
• Detail-oriented and reliable — you follow through on commitments, effectively manage your time, and proactively escalate unexpected issues.
